1. Stocking the Pantry
The Mount Healthy Alliance Food Pantry provides food assistance to hundreds of persons living in
the 45231 area code. As a "choice food pantry" those served are able to choose from
a well balanced array of items. In order to do this, many people work behind the scenes to order
items from larger distribution centers, transport items to the Food Pantry, unload donations, screen
items for freshness dates, and place items on shelves and in refrigerators.
This photo essay will document the ongoing work of the volunteers and the behind the scenes
work that makes the Food Pantry possible. Copies of the photos will be made available to
the Pantry director.
